Here we are on yet another Happy Friday, so to get your life back on track after work and kick off your weekend routine, I’ve put together a nifty little list of five amazing, completely free games on Steam.

If you’re in the United States, you might be getting ready to be yourself in your lingerie on the couch and take part in our nation’s newest three-day weekend. If you don’t know where it came from, let me remind you that as of 2021, the United States will finally (finally!) recognizes June 19 or June 19, the day in 1865 when federal troops told enslaved Texans they were free (two years after they were actually freed), as a national holiday. Our last long weekend is an opportunity to celebrate and enjoy black culture and history, and as with all long weekends, give yourself a little respite from your tiring daily routine.

Even if you’re not in the US this weekend, there’s always time to learn how best to support your peers and yourself. I can help you with the latter – here’s my short list of five fun, completely free games on Steam.

ARK: Survival Evolution

ARK: Survival EvolutionSurvival game where can i get stinky poophas reduced its regular price of $29.99 and will be available as a free download on Steam until June 19th.

The gameplay is actually just a fantastic episode Naked and scared which you can send to your computer. You are a stuck character who THE ARKThe description on the website states that you have to be “naked, freezing and hungry” and you need to do all the usual survival things to stay alive: find and kill dinosaurs with a bow and arrow, use your innate mason skills to beat the housing market. and build a shelter, etc. As for food, you can try your hand at being a vegetarian forager or become a complete cannibal and learn how to gather human meat. Picky eaters are safe here.

If you want to get away from especially picky eaters interested in your delicious flesh, you can currently collect all THE ARKExpansion cards are also free. Good hunting.

fishing planet

Maybe poking dinosaurs in the eye with spears is not your thing. You may prefer to hook an ignorant freshwater fish right into its poor adorable snout. To this I say, try fishing planetalways free fishing simulator.

Like American Truck Simulatora game that is not free on Steam (it costs $5), fishing planet it’s a surprisingly mundane, objectively worst interpretation of the real things people do in their real lives. Unlike real fishing, you won’t be able to fry your prey in crispy fritto misto or watch the river reflect and finally feel at home, made by nature. Instead, you should be staring at your screen and gaining XP for reeling in some writhing catfish. But isn’t that wonderful in itself?

No barriers to entry fishing planet– you don’t need a boat or a buddy – all you need is a computer and the willingness to let the free repetitive game get you into a meditative state. This weekend is the perfect opportunity to do it, you will have plenty of time to relax with the fish.

crush crush

Free to play NSFW crush crush this is what you want to come home to after a long day spent on fishing planet pontoon. This is a simple dating sim that lets you choose your hobbies like surfing and skydiving and work any job you have the skills for like bounty hunter, professional athlete, artist, whatever you find most attractive to gradually win the love of anime girls. who don’t like you in the first place.

You need to click on the girls to generate hearts and make them enjoy your company just like in real life. You may not want to think about making money to please people when you’re not working, but it’s actually a reassuringly long time to juggle all your work with all your annoying girlfriends all by yourself. crush crush. Let’s call the game the pink cure for your Sunday fears.

Wordplay: Episode 0

Typically, the games I play most on the weekends are word games, usually wordle as well as in New York Times spelling beewhich I am very mildly obsessed with. Wordplay: Episode 0free demo version, takes the word puzzles literally and you play as the puzzle solving character “I” in the concept is very Looks like Baba is you.

It’s a bit of a wannabe, but still a fun puzzle game, though you might not want to play at full strength. word game for $34.99 if you don’t know Chinese. This game is exclusively in Chinese, but as you’ll find from the Steam reviews, it can still be enjoyed even if you don’t have the slightest bit of language diversity. If you want, Episode 0 It can be a good way for a monolingual child to discover new language horizons, or to spend some time immersing themselves in Chinese grammar.

Virtual cottage

Unfortunately, not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy a weekend without work, so if you have a few projects to work on, Virtual cottage is the perfect companion. It’s more of a productivity companion than a “game” – it involves setting your goal and time frame, and displays a cozy, musical cottage with controllable rain sounds and a girl typing on a computer in solidarity. While it’s still running, the timer cannot be paused or stopped unless you exit the game, so Virtual cottage is a more exciting and more motivating version “lofi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study” YouTube stream that seems to draw inspiration.

That’s all for my list. What will you be playing this weekend?
