The dramatic interpretation of Ryu’s new theme excited me.

Music has always been a huge part Street Fighter series. Heck, you can’t even think of a 2001 arcade game. Capcom vs. SNK 2 no piano riff from This is real love we make plays in your head. This shit is spanking and it sounds like people in Capcom is preparing some more hits street fighter 6.

Today is official Street Fighter The YouTube page has uploaded a new theme song for their “battle tramp” Ryu called “Viator”. Although I missed listening to new topics for Luke and the lady-who-never-misses-a-day, Chun-Li, something came over me today and I decided to listen to Ryu’s new bop. Guys, I might just have to put down Yuuri Han and Chief Ryu. Street Fighter 6 because his new theme is straight heat.

Unsurprisingly, the longest theme (so far) will be about the show’s flagship character, but what I didn’t expect was that his theme would be funky as hell. I had to check my tabs to make sure I didn’t have 2 Mello music plays in the background by mistake. The flavor text in Ryu’s theme description was no joke when he said that we would feel the journey he’s been on throughout the series and the energy. SF6 prepared for him. I’m willing to bet that part of Ryu’s trip included a tour of Jet Set RadioTokyo-to with how groovy the Viator is.

Unlike Ryu. Street Fighter V topicwhich had all the pomposity and profundity of a song that would play during the final battle of an anime fantasy, “Viator” is more modern and upbeat, matching the color splash of the graffiti images shown in SF6parrying and finishing.

The groovy hip-hop records of Viator, mixed with euphoric trumpets and phrases from what I can assume are shimasen, harmoniously reflect Ryu’s countless battles around the world, and also give you the opportunity to bounce your prey, kicking people’s asses.

After repeating Ryu’s theme a few times today, I started giggling at the parental warning at the start of watching the video, which “may contain content inappropriate for children.” Although Ryu’s theme isn’t exactly “music to make kids”, it’s pretty close. Let’s hope for sakura sake Capcom won’t install it SF6 because god knows what would happen if she ended up on the opposite end of Ryu’s new topic.
