Because it was announced that Chris Pratt was going to voice Mario. in the upcoming animated film, many wondered: how will it sound in the film? And… we still don’t have an answer to that question, but guardians of the galaxy the star recently teased that his Mario voice sounds “not like anything you’ve ever heard before” in the franchise. And now I’m scared.

In a recent interview with DiversityPratt shared that he was excited for people to hear and see his take on Mario.

“I worked very closely with the directors,” Pratt said. Diversity“as well as [tried] of several things and settled on something that I’m really proud of and can’t wait for people to see and hear.”

Then, for some reason, Pratt decided to take a moment during this interview to explain to people the concept of animated films and how they differ from live-action films, explaining that he would not be wearing a “plumber suit” and “running around throughout the film. Again, don’t think one person expected animated The Mario movie should be alive, but… uh… thanks.

After that, the former Parks and recreation areas the star ominously teased his gaze at Mario.

“I’m voicing an animated character,” Pratt reminded us again. “And it’s updated and unlike anything you’ve heard in the world of Mario before.”

The Mario franchise has a lot of noises, voices, and sound effects. So, if he doesn’t look like any of that, then how the hell is Pratt going to sound when this movie comes out? Maybe he’s going to scream all his lines? Or maybe every piece of dialogue spoken by Mario will be reversed, creating a nightmarish image of the character? Or maybe, and this is my own stupid theory, Mario won’t actually speak at all in the movie, except for one line near the end, and this whole Chris Pratt thing is an elaborate ploy?

It’s been almost a year since Nintendo confirmed via Direct that the cast for upcoming animated Mario movie will include Pratt as Mario. From that point on, people were mostly confused or disappointed with the choice, even after the film’s producer recently said that people’s criticism of Pratt would “evaporate” after they finally saw the film. I… am not sure about that..

If you’re wondering you can read here about why so many people hate chris prattbut in short: the dude has shady politics, went to a crappy church, and recently glutted Hollywood. I mean, the guy does the voice Garfield in the next cartoon about cats who love lasagna. He’s in the next big Thor The sequel will be out next month. He is currently filming last jurassic world peculiarity. And he’s in Amazon Prime’s next big action movie. The dude is everywhere, and, of course, people are tired of him.

And now, even the forthcoming Mario movie-which was recently postponed until 2023 and remains officially unnamed – not safe to enjoy if you’re tired of seeing or hearing more of Pratt’s generic bro white dude.

At the very least, there is a high probability that this new Mario the movie is going to be awful and boring, so you probably won’t even want to miss it.
